Story
NeighborLink Indianapolis has served the Indianapolis community for the last ten years by providing home repairs at no cost to homeowners. As the Board of Directors looks to the future, they are wanting to establish an endowment as a lasting legacy and step toward longevity for the organization. Committing funds to invest in the organization's continued presence in Marion County is a stance for the long-term.
New to endowments? Endowments are long-term investments meant for an organization to utilize the income from the investments rather than the initial proceeds raised. We're starting modestly thanks to the Central Indiana Community Foundation's offerings of a board directed endowment fund that allows us to enter into an endowment from an initial, small investment.
