Thank you for supporting the National Museum of Forest Service History. Your annual membership enables us to carry out our mission to Share the Rich History and Story of America’s Conservation Legacy.

With your support we will continue to:

* Share the history of the U.S. Forest Service and conservation

* Promote and maintain our online and traveling exhibits

* Build the National Conservation Legacy Center

* Welcome visitors to the Museum campus from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Weekend

Membership contributions provide 40% of the Museum's annual operating budget.

Thanks to you, in 2024 we were able to welcome visitors from 46 states and 10 countries to the Museum. We hosted multiple tour buses, one wedding, Missoula's Classic Car Club, families from Missoula's Play Network, a group of forestry students from the University of Montana, and more than 1,000 other visitors.

Since 1988, member support has helped us:

Catalog more than 50,000 items
Restore items to display quality
Create traveling and online exhibits
Provide online access to the collection
Create educational resources at no cost to teachers or the general public
