Over the past year, our Oakland studio has grown into a thriving home for adventurous performance. We presented more than 75 events, welcomed over 400 artists, and reached audiences of more than 3,500 people.

Our programs encompass the West Oakland Sound Series with sfSound, the Dresher Ensemble Artist Residency, the 88+ Contemporary Piano Series, and an expanding series of Hindustani classical music concerts. Alongside these public performances, our studio provides artists with affordable rehearsal space, production resources, mentorship, and the time needed to develop ambitious new work.

Your donation sustains the daily life of this artist-centered space. It helps us pay artists fairly, support residencies and rehearsals, maintain our facilities, and bring innovative music, theater, dance, and interdisciplinary performances to audiences throughout the Bay Area and beyond.
