The Don't Get Played Cooperative

This Campaign:
To secure enough funds to secure a website hosting service, website domain name(s), and email. This money will assist in create a platform which is created by you to assist rural communities all across the United State (and beyond?). I thank you in advance for your consideration and donation.

The Big Picture:

Let’s face it—rural America is under siege. Developers in shiny suits with billion-dollar backers are swarming into our towns with promises of "clean" energy. But what they don’t say on their brochures? That your land, your peace, your heritage, and your health might be what gets sacrificed for someone else’s bottom line.

That’s why we’re building the Don’t Get Played Cooperative – a national online headquarters for the people who’ve had enough. It’s your go-to place for truth, strategy, and connection when the bulldozers come calling. We’re talking real help, not hot air. Tools, videos, forums, and faith-driven motivation, all in one spot.

What We Are About:

I envision The Don’t Get Played Cooperative to help you fight smarter, stand taller, and know you’re not alone. Whether you’re a landowner, township trustee, or just tired of being told to shut up and sign on the dotted line, this platform gives you what you need to defend your community.

 It’s not just a website.

It’s a movement with roots.

Why This COULD Be Different:

We’re not some high-rise think tank or beltway “strategy group” churning out policy papers no one reads. We’re not funded by billionaires trying to greenwash their portfolios or consultants who wouldn’t know a silage chopper from a leaf blower. This network was built by someone who’s stood in the same muddy fields, sat through the same frustrating township meetings, and seen firsthand how these developers try to divide good people with half-truths and false promises.

We won’t be talking in acronyms or hide behind PowerPoint decks. We talk like you do—straightforward, plainspoken, no fluff. This platform was built for rural communities by rural communities. We understand what’s at stake because we’ve lived it. Faith, land, and family aren't just slogans to us—they're the roots of everything we're trying to protect.

And while others chase likes and headlines, we’re not here for clicks or clout. We’re here to win. We’re here to equip, support, and amplify the voices that have been ignored for too long. We don’t sugarcoat the facts, and we don’t waste your time. What you’ll find here is truth, backed by experience and wrapped in the grit and grace that define real rural America.

So, if you’re tired of being talked down to, talked over, or just plain ignored—welcome. You’ve found the one place that gets it. Because we’re not here to observe the fight. We’re here to stand in it with you.

Crawling Before We Walk:

At the Don’t Get Played Cooperative, we believe in the time-tested, dirt-road-approved philosophy of Crawl, Walk, Run. We’re not here to launch some overhyped spectacle with slick logos and meaningless buzzwords. We’re starting slow, steady, and sturdy—because that’s how real things grow. You don’t bale hay before you mend the twine, and we’re not pretending to be something we’re not. Right now, we’re in the crawl phase—figuring out what this cooperative should be with the people it’s built for.

And that’s where you come in. We want to know what you think this should look like. What would actually help you? Is it a place to trade hard truths and local stories? A way to call out the half-baked sales pitches dressed up as “progress”? A network of people who’ve sat through the same township meetings, read the same legal jargon, and still know how to rotate a pasture? We’re not guessing—we’re asking.

Shoot us an email at dontget.played.book@gmail.com. Be sure to slap “DGPC” in the subject line so we know you’re one of us—and not some PR intern from a wind lobby.

We’re not powered by billionaires, consultants, or big-city brainstorm sessions. We’re powered by you—rural folks who’ve had enough. So if you’re tired of being overlooked, talked down to, or sold out with a smile, come crawl with us. We’ll walk next. And when we run? Let’s just say the suits won’t see it coming.
