Bringing awareness and support to the Special Olympics of Texas and all the SOTX Athletes. As Law Enforcement, we partner with Special Olympics through the Law Enforcement Torch Run. The Polar Plunge is one of our biggest annual fundraisers which brings awareness, support, and fundraising that directly benefits local athletes by paying for programs and helping with travel costs to get them to different events. It also helps in providing costs of venues and other expenses. Special Olympics provides so much to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities to include sporting events, fundamental events, leadership classes to include public speaking classes, all with the purpose to develop confidence and provide a sense of inclusion to all.
