If you know Neighborhood School, you know that what we do here is intentionally small. We love to tend to our little pond, but as Indigenous author Robin Wall Kimmerer reminds us, “the water net connects us all." Read our director's letter here.
When you donate to NS, you make transformative education accessible to local families, but your generosity also flows downstream to the broader community. We are fundraising to raise $300,000 this year. This will allow us to continue our four decades of work: attending closely to our students and families, advocating for our city's grassroots organizations, and building a multi-racial, cross-class community based on financial redistribution.
If you are interested in contributing to our first endowment fund, providing a fundraising match, or setting up planned giving, please reach out to Tracy Pimentel at [email protected]
What we do here, together, matters.
