National Underwear Day was created to celebrate underwear and the freedom of self-expression that comes with wearing it, but Cocotree Kids uses it as a day to not only celebrate and be grateful for underwear--but also to bring awareness to underwear insecurity.

Our mission is to provide new underwear to underserved youth in Massachusetts for their dignity and security. A shocking 1 in 3 kids in the state experiences clothing insecurity, and underwear insecurity is even higher because underwear needs to be new for legal and hygienic reasons. It is one of the most needed but least donated items--which is where we come in.

In just 4 years, Cocotree Kids has provided over 396,000 pairs of underwear to over 56,500 kids across Massachusetts! You can read more about our impact and the kids we serve in our 2024 Impact Report.

Our goal to celebrate this fun holiday is to raise $10,000, which will provide over 2,800 kids with 20,000 pairs of underwear. Please help us spread the word--and Happy Undies Day!
