It's time for that Holiday feeling again! Come join LUNAR NYC as we celebrate Hanukkah with great food, fun activities & games, and inspired community story-telling. This year, we also invite you to participate in creating a warm, festive feeling for everyone!
If you have a joyful, festive or heartwarming experience from 2024 that you would like to share, please fill out the submission form before the Hanukkah party. Poems, songs, stories are all welcome -- creativity is encouraged!
This event is open to Asian American Jews. LUNAR defines ‘Asian American Jews’ as folks who identify as both Jewish (whether by heritage, religion or culture) and Asian American - this includes mixed race folks, transracial adoptees, Asian Jews by Choice, and more. We fully welcome those in the process of converting to Judaism, or simply exploring Judaism. In addition, all ages are welcome at this event, however children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
**Parents or relatives of Asian Jewish kids/teens are allowed as +1s
In the spirit of keeping this event accessible, we are offering tickets on a pay-what-you-can model. Donations help to cover food and supplies, venue and insurance costs, and equitable compensation for our organizers and staff. The true cost of attendance for this event is $36 per person. We invite you to pay what you can, to help us make this event a success!
Photos will be taken at this event. Please let us know in advance if you would prefer not to be photographed.
Organized by Matheus, Maya, and Tori.
Thank you to the 14th Street Y for generously supporting and collaborating with LUNAR’s NYC Hub for this year's Hanukkah!
