Nina Schroeren's Story
Great films allow us to do many things — lose ourselves in them, find ourselves, discover something new, and deepen our understanding of the world around us, regardless of our age. For almost 30 years, the New York International Children's Film Festival has been presenting programs of the best new children's films from around the world that you can't find anywhere else. Supporting the NYICFF allows low-income communities in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens to experience the power and magic of film through free programming throughout the year, sparking joy, compassion, curiosity, and a love for the arts in children and adults alike.
