Nora De Broder's Story
I’m raising funds for NYICFF because I believe deeply in the power of film to help children see themselves and their communities reflected. The films NYICFF screens during their annual film festival, Field Trips, and in classrooms give children a sense of belonging, agency, and possibility. As a parent raising a curious, imaginative toddler and a filmmaker who’s spent years working in film and television, I’ve seen how meaningful stories can nourish empathy, creativity, and confidence in all ages. Please join me in supporting this powerful and engaging form of literacy.
