Nathan Hamrick - a New Orleans Native. A Jesuit Blue Jay. A child in need.

Nathan went into this year with both of his parents. In two months, he will experience his first holiday season without either of them. On June 20th of this year Nathan's father, a coach for Jesuit Football, died suddenly. At the time of his father's passing, Nathan's mother was battling lung cancer. She lost her battle on September 12th, one month ago this week.

Nathan is now left without either of his parents, a situation that no child should ever have to experience. We have heard from so many of you asking how to help Nathan, so we asked his uncle what he wanted:

Nathan's grandmother was born in New York and hasn't been back in over 60 years. Nathan's dad promised her he'd bring her back, but due to his untimely departure, their trip can never come to fruition. She is 79 years old, and Nathan is now worried about losing her, too. He told his uncle that he would like to bring her to New York for Christmas this year.

We are so grateful to you for all your support in the past, and so now we are asking you, help us help Nathan find some light in this dark time. Let's make their New York trip happen this Christmas.
