Support Children with Autism in Ethiopia
I am Nathan Bekele, an Ethiopian-American junior at Piedmont High School. I am excited to be
leading a service trip to Ethiopia, where I and some of my peers from Piedmont Community
Service Crew will volunteer to support Melu’e Foundation, one of the two centers in
Ethiopia treating children with autism spectrum disorder in a limited resource setting.
This trip means so much to me because I believe that even small actions can create impactful
changes and with enough good deeds, we can change the world. My vision is not only to
provide immediate support but also to raise autism awareness in Ethiopia. We want to help
build a future where every child, regardless of their circumstances, has access to the resources
they need to thrive in their lives. I’m proud to be leading this initiative and hope you will join
me in supporting this very important cause. Thank you ahead for your donation and support.
