July 26th is an extra special day at the APA! It’s our 101^st birthday – and National BOOP Your Pet Day - and you’re invited to join the celebration and share your love for animals. Whether you have a few minutes or a long lunch break, we hope you’ll stop by your nearest APA Adoption Center and:

• Grab a cupcake (or two) and sign up to volunteer,
• Make an enrichment toy for a shelter pet alongside family or friends,
• Take a dog on a date to your local park where you’ll both benefit from the change of scenery, or
• Find your new love with reduced and fee-waived adoption specials all day, courtesy of our friends at MetLife Pet Insurance

These small gestures of love are guaranteed to bring joy and this ripple effect of kindness will make an enormous impact for the animals in our care!

If you can’t join us in-shelter, we hope you’ll join us by donating online. So far this year, and especially this summer, we are seeing so many more animals entering our shelter that need love and care until they find their new homes. Our team is ready to meet their needs – from intake to adoption – but we need your help now more than ever. Please help us reach our goal of raising $20,000 today to help with their essential medical care, quality enrichment, and safe shelter.
