Our Village Closet - Back to School 2024

We need the communities help! This year we are estimating we will serve up to 450 current and former foster youth prepare for the 2024-25 school year. Different than other back to school events we work to create dignity and the power of choice for these youth who by no fault of their own have had these removed. These youth will receive a backpack, lunch box, water bottle and a new pair of shoes, as well as other school supplies.

We CAN NOT do this without your help!

Please consider a donation of supplies, coordinating a drive at your work, in your neighborhood or in an organization (church, lodge etc.), a donation of your time volunteer at the event or a. donation of money (we will purchase items for you). If you want to know more about how you can help or have questions email [email protected].
