2026 New Year Fundraising Campaign

Color of Sound had its first fundraiser in April of 2024 (18 months ago), and since then we have completed two "Dark and Tender" films, co-produced a third ("Living InCognegro"), organized over 20 screening events, further developed a Touch Activist Program, and organized and curated a sold-out Black film festival at the Rose Theatre in Port Townsend. We’ve been busy!

In these times where people of color are under attack, your donation is needed more than ever.  In 2026 we plan to create our first "Dark and Tender" full-length feature film, continue to build our Touch Activist Program, and create an Emerging Black Filmmaker Fund.
