The Newcastle animal shelter currently houses up to 10 dogs in OUTDOOR kennel runs.  In the summer they're exposed to our grueling heat, and in the winter they have igloo-style dog houses and blankets to stay warm.  We want to change that for the better by building an indoor, climate-controlled facility with 12 kennel runs.  The unit will also house a large wash bay so our officer can clean the dogs onsite, it'll have room for storage of dog food and other necessities.
