We need plays that reflect the complexities of our country’s history, and that wrestle with who we are and inspire us to create a vision of who we want to become.

At Luna, we commission, develop and produce plays that engage the essential challenges of this moment–plays that bear witness to this moment and celebrate the diversity of our community. And our pay-what-you-choose model ensures access to professional theatre and arts education for all.

This work is more important than ever. And right now, we need your support.

Due to shifting funder priorities and our steadfast dedication to bold, inclusive storytelling, we must raise $50,000 by June 30—approximately 10% of our annual budget.

This season, our productions of Mrs. Stern Wanders the Prussian State Library, Lonely Planet, Trich, A Case for the Existence of God, the ripple, the wave that carried me home, and The Ground On Which We Stand (Abridged) celebrated human connection, hope, and moral action in divisive times. Our subsidized classes and camps served youth and adults in our community, and our free New Moon Readings supported playwrights and audiences alike.
