Hello my Beasties!

I am creating Tiny Beast Adventures, a 10-book illustrated fantasy series that is not only a unique and entertaining story, but also an intriguing allegorical tale. My vision is that every reader will find moral values and an emotional connection with every incredible beast as you explore their journeys alongside them.

Through Yakoon and his hybrid friends, I’m building a world where being “mixed,” different, anxious, sensitive, or unsure isn’t a flaw, but a quiet superpower. My goal is to use this series to support emotional awareness, social and self-acceptance, and environmental curiosity for kids, teens, and adults who appreciate my odd, imaginative world. Our society could use this more than ever.

Your support helps me devote more of my time and energy toward writing, illustrating, and producing this series—along with future swag (plushies, journals, and more) that carry its message far beyond the page. Tiny Beast Adventures is more than a book series. It’s a movement. I’m building a creative ecosystem with subscription-based offerings and an AmBEASTador™ Club where readers can be part of the process and feel like they truly own a “share” of this universe.

This passion isn’t new, and it didn’t happen overnight. It has been years in the making as a back-burner dream that kept growing. Yakoon began as my freelance design mascot for Tiny Beast Studio, and since then this world has evolved into something much larger than I expected.

I’ve spent endless hours researching the animal kingdom, climates, landscapes, and so much more to form this mergical and mixterious universe (see what I did there?). I’ve been conceptualizing and illustrating characters, developing their backstories, and I’m currently in a writer’s program to level up this rare one-two combo of author-illustrator storytelling.

I’m creating my own universe and I intend to get these books out into the world as far as the eyes can stretch. I'm talking maps, character cards, my own hybridized language and more. 

Oh—and I’m proudly AI-free with all my storytelling and illustration.
