Love Keeps STAR Growing

Because the work keeps showing up —  so  we show up too.

We got this far because love didn’t look away.
Because you — our community — showed up.

You gave when it was hard.
You made sure families could find care that sees them.
You kept the lights on, the doors open, the hope steady.

This next phase is about what love does next. How we keep turning compassion into action, care into access, and understanding into change.

You’ve built the foundation.
Help us build what comes next.

We reached 98 % of our winter goal, and this spring we’re doubling our impact with a new goal of $20,000.

The Wall of Love Lives On

The hearts you placed on our wall are still there — and new ones keep appearing. What began as a Valentine’s project has become a visible network of care. Because of you, families found care that sees them as whole, not broken. We can’t do this work alone.

STAR Institute survives, and keeps growing, because of our community.

STAR Institute’s work is justice‑centered, relationship‑based, and sensory‑informed. Sensory‑informed care means every decision — from room setup to research design — is guided by an understanding of the body’s sensory systems and their role in regulation, connection, and participation.

That understanding is what makes STAR different — it shapes how we teach, how we study, and how we serve families here and around the world.

Why It Matters

Families are still waiting for access to justice‑centered, sensory‑first care.

When you give, you keep relationship at the center of sensory health; and you keep therapy rooms open, clinicians supported, and parents from facing that search for help alone.

Your gift today means:

  • A phone that’s answered by someone who understands sensory overwhelm.

  • Therapy that helps children and parents find joy together again.

  • Training and research that transform how systems respond to difference.

We add real value: to families here in Colorado, to families around the world, and to the entire field of neurodivergent support. The research, training, and care that happen inside these walls ripple outward. When we thrive, families and professionals everywhere find a new way to understand what regulation, belonging, and dignity look like.

Add Your Spring Heart

Each name added is another steady heartbeat of solidarity — a visible promise that love keeps showing up.

The wall you built in winter is still growing: heart by heart, name by name.

Add a spring heart to the wall before May 1 2026.

Let the world see a community that refuses to look away.

STAR can’t survive without its community — but with you, it doesn’t just survive. It grows.

How You Can Help

Join the spring goal: help us reach $20,000 by May 1.

Give once or become a monthly donor to keep the work steady and sustainable.

Every contribution brings us closer to full access for every family who calls.

We’ve built something that matters. We know its worth. Now we need help to sustain it.
