Dear Friends of Tiverton Land Trust,

As we reach the midpoint of the year, we wanted to provide an update on our efforts, and share a reminder that your support is essential to the success of the Tiverton Land Trust.

Our commitment to our community remains an important element of our work. This year we have hosted educational programs and guided walks that showcase the beauty of our conserved lands, enabling us to renew old relationships and make new friends. Whether it’s through a TLT sponsored event, or just a walk with the dog or some friends, we encourage you to get out and enjoy our community's beautiful open spaces and hardwood forests.

We are actively pursuing new opportunities to conserve land across our community. Land conservation remains the core of what we do and are making steady progress in advancing several land conservation projects. These projects take time, persistence, patience, and money. We are optimistic that our efforts will lead to conservation of more open space across Tiverton and look forward to sharing more good news as these projects move closer to reality.

We are grateful for your past generosity. Your contributions have been instrumental in our success, and invite you to consider making a mid-year donation of any amount to help us maintain and further our work. Since its inception, TLT has been run by a volunteer Board of Directors, and we work diligently to keep our operating overhead low. Nonetheless, it costs money to maintain properties, host community events, and hire experts to help us navigate transactions. We depend on donations and membership dues to underwrite the majority of our regular expenses. Your gift will have a direct impact on our ability to engage our community, maintain the lands entrusted to us, and acquire new properties that align with our mission.
