Come join us for Humane Action Pittsburgh's inaugural "No Trash Left Behind" event benefitting animal protection and environmental stewardship in Pittsburgh! We cordially invite you to join us on June 5th to leave no trash behind in Pittsburgh's Southside neighborhood.

"No Trash Left Behind" is a unique event that consists of a litter pick-up and an after-party. The Event Day on June 5th will include coffee and fruit for breakfast, a litter pickup in the Southside, complimentary litter pickup supplies, a full catered lunch, live music and more. It's an event unlike any other, and we're excited for you to join us!

Humane Action Pittsburgh is working towards a world without animal suffering where all beings are treated with compassion. As such, this fundraiser will help us fund our three 2021 priority campaigns.

1. Wildlife Education. As you may know, the city of Pittsburgh has one of the most inhumane trapping programs for wildlife in the country. We want to educate the community that trapping is inhumane and doesn't work, and providing humane harassment techniques in an easy and accessible way. We are looking to hire an advertising firm to develop a campaign, assist with identifying the target audience, and create marketing tools.

2. HAP Hive. We want to do our part to help with the crisis facing the world's bee population. A multi-faceted campaign, we are looking for grant money that would support the development of a program led by teenagers to install "bee hotels" in areas that don't see pedestrian foot traffic or are sparsely populated.

3. No Plastic Please! This campaign is aimed at reducing single-use plastic to protect our communities’ health, wildlife, and environment. Our goal is to have as many people as possible take the “no plastic please” pledge and challenge themselves to eliminate single-use plastic to reduce the suffering of all living creatures.
