Times are tough and so many are struggling. So many stories of homelessness, financial hardships, having to choose between heating oil, gas or food, and the list goes on. The stories are heartbreaking and we all try to help where we can.

Due to these tough times, Northeast Boston Terrier Rescue has been extremely busy. People have been reaching out to us in record numbers, and Boston’s have been coming in droves. The stream has been steady and hasn’t let up.

Our teams are tired, but that doesn’t stop them from moving forward to the next crisis. Together we march on. Supporting each other where we can. Rescue takes a village, and a village is what we continue to build. We welcome new members and fresh ideas to our village at any time.

Because of these tough times, donations are not as they were. This adds an extra layer of stress to what we do. We don’t want to ask, but we do. We ask because we need and we need because we say yes, to just one more. How do you turn them away? How can you say no to a pup that has a chance, but the owner or shelter doesn’t have the funds? We rarely say no!

We need you! We need you to give what you can and give with your heart. We need you today, we need you tomorrow and in the future. We need you to help us on our journey, to help them. We can’t do this alone!
