Kingdom Rescue dba Gonzales Pet Adoption Center is proud to operate the City of Gonzales municipal cat shelter in Gonzales, Texas. This cat shelter was previously operated by Friends of Gonzales Animal Shelter whose life-saving mission was to operate as a "no-kill" shelter for over 18 years. Gonzales Pet Adoption Center will continue that legacy while giving back to the community. Your donation will help us renove out building to be a state-of-the-art adoption center, expand our trap,neuter, vaccinate, and return (TNVR) program and establish a new practice as a low-cost spay/neuter clinic.

Current Project for Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinics:

We are working closely with a veterinarian to offer low-cost spay/neuter clinics to the area of Gonzales County. The start up costs for these clinics and the expansion of our facility will cost roughly $75,000. We are in the process of applying for grants to help mitigate these costs. However, we are also accepting tax deductible donotions and actively seeking sponsors to kick-off these clinics. Estimated expenses include $50,000 for surgical equipment, $10,000 for a storage shed, and $15,000 to renovate the location for a sterile surgery room.
