Nutmeg is the sweetest little girl you could have the pleasure of meeting. This past weekend Nutmeg suffered a medical emergency, being diagnosed with pyometra, which is a life threatening infection of the uterus. 

She was relinquished by the owner so the vets could perform emergency surgery to save her. 

GRRA was notified of the situation by a rescue friend, and we jumped in to give any assistance...
