The mission of Viva Los Gatos Cat Rescue is to rescue, nurture, and find forever homes for neglected, abandoned, and stray cats and kittens in Northeast Ohio. Why did we choose this name? Because it roughly translates from Spanish to mean "Long Live Cats!" and we do our best to ensure every cat in our care lives a long, healthy life in a loving forever home.

Be reassured that 100% of your donation is used exclusively to help kitties in need. We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization that is staffed exclusively by volunteers, so no one receives a salary for their dedicated, hard work. We also have low overhead because we foster kittens and cats in our homes and don't have a physical shelter building. You can meet our kitties in person at our adoption events in popular locations.

All donations, adoption fees, and fundraisers make it possible to save more cats by covering expenses directly related to their foster care. The more you donate, the more animals we can save!
