Hi, my name is Reo. I’ve always wanted to dance, but I went through a lot of struggles in my 20s. When I turned 30, I finally felt more grounded in life and decided to pursue dancing. The first place that popped up online was Culture Shock. As soon as I walked in, I saw words like unity, respect, self-worth, and empowerment on the walls—and I knew I was in the right place. I started with Vincent and Sean’s cardio dance classes. At first, I felt insecure and completely out of my comfort zone. But I stayed dedicated and persistent. Eventually, I found my rhythm and started showing up every day. It’s been over a year now, and I haven’t stopped. I also joined Aftershock and am currently in my third season with them. I feel so blessed to be part of this community—it truly feels like a second home.
