Rohingya Genocide Survivor
Md. Hares is a Rohingya genocide survivor, living in the harsh reality of the refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar since 2017. He fled Myanmar with hope in his heart — hope for safety, for dignity, for a future.
But today, that hope is fading.
In the camp, there is no job, no opportunity, no way to build a life.
Md. Hares wakes up each day surrounded by fences, restrictions, and uncertainty.
Anxiety consumes him. He feels trapped. Forgotten.
> “I don’t want to just survive,” he says. “I want to live.”
Md. Hares dreams of leaving the camp — of finding work, stability, and a future where he can live with dignity.
🤝 That’s why RCO has launched this campaign for Md. Hares — to help him break free from the walls of hopelessness and begin a new chapter.
