First Step Recovery House for the last 15 years has provided safe and structured living environment to those who suffer from drug/alcohol addiction, so they may become healthy and productive members of the community. First Step Recovery House is a self-directed, peer run sober living program with a wide range of volunteer opportunities, that is helping diverse people initiate a firm foundation in their recovery and maintain alcohol-free and substance-free lifestyles. 

We currently are breaking new ground and are expanding our recovery efforts by opening a recovery center and office location that allows our clients and the recovery community to seek recovery support services in a more desolate location of Vermont but also conveniently located off interstate 89 exit 17 in Colchester, bordering Grand Isle and Milton, where individuals and families seeking recovery services needs are currently not being met. This facility we will offer recovery coaching, peer support and recovery meetings. It will also serve as our home base location to keep records of all our clients that we serve and allow us to do resident intakes and board meetings in a more professional environment. We cannot complete building this beautiful new space without the support of individuals and businesses like yours.
