2023 was horrific for LGBTQ+ rights and 2024 has already been worse. It's a very scary time for our transgender family. While I know that a Pride Prom doesn't change the world, in the 7 years I've been organizing such I know that it's one night in which EVERY teen feels safe, valued, capable, hopeful, loved, respected, affirmed, and alive. Until the day when EVERYDAY feels like that for trans and nonbinary youth, I will continue to do what I can to make a small difference each day. Will you join me?
