Safe Space NOVA remains near and dear to my heart. I proudly served as Program Manager for years and running the cross-country Pride Prom was truly the most humbling experience of my life. The anti-trans bills facing our nation and state coupled with the incoming executive branch is a terrifying concoction that no trans person should have to swallow. On election day, The Trevor Project saw a 700x increase in calls to their crisis lines. Safe spaces for trans youth are in danger across the country. Safe Space NOVA is needed more now than ever. On this #GivingTuesday I ask that you support them so they can support teens and give them a chance at thriving, not just surviving.
