Over 70% of children in Fort Wayne Community Schools are battling food insecurity.

Blessings in a Backpack provides nutritious food to students every weekend, ensuring that they do not have to endure the weekend without food.

Our organization is currently implemented in the top 7 schools in Fort Wayne Community, with a goal to reach EVERY school and every child. Help us expand and add our 8th school, Bloomingdale Elementary in Fort Wayne Indiana, providing a bag of nutritious food to 350 students every Friday throughout the entire school year.

Every child, every Friday, ensures that no child falls through the cracks, and all can received supplemental food during the breaks from school.

Your donation will ensure that we can implement our program into this school for a full year, adding not only our Blessings Bags, but also our "Believe Bags" to fight the mental health and self-esteem issued facing children fighting food insecurity.
