What does it mean to choose the Oregon Military Museum Project (OMMP) for #GIVING TUESDAY?

Established in 2016 as a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, the OMMP is solely dedicated to supporting the OMM through partnerships, education, procurement, and preservation of military history and resources. We honor veterans by sharing their collective experiences of sacrifice, courage, and the character of military history. The OMM relies on the OMMP to provide support for all library equipment, marketing, volunteer support, visitor support, and other necessities to keep the museum operational. 2025 promises to be year full of activity within the museum and supporting outreach with the community and schools. Your support will ensure our success.

Currently, the Oregon Military Museum is in the final stages of fully completing the array of exhibits to spotlight our incredible artifacts, spanning the time of the Spanish-American War up to today's military. The completion of our Main Gallery, Weapons Gallery, and Hall of Valor is scheduled for mid-year 2025. The goal is to expand our hours of operation to allow much greater access from those who have a keen interest in Oregon history.

In the mid to long term, we are looking at adding protection for our outdoor macro artifacts, to include five tracked vehicles plus an Oregon Air National Guard F-4C Phantom II, expanded outreach, hosting eminent historians, a theater, and a rotating temporary gallery that will keep our museum vibrant and current.
