Many of your neighbors are struggling to afford the cost of their basic electric utility service. With your support, Omaha Public Power District's Energy Assistance Program will distribute direct, emergency aid to eligible households in need of assistance with their utility bills.

You can also donate via your Omaha Public Power District bill by completing the Energy Assistance Pledge form or by calling 402-536-4131.

The OPPD Energy Assistance Program (EAP) provides financial assistance to help cover the emergency energy needs of households located within the 13-county OPPD service area. Applicants receive assistance based on eligibility criteria and availability of funds.

Success of the EAP depends on community partnerships, donations from generous employees and customers, and other fundraising efforts, with 100% of the contributions going to assist residential customers in need. Funds are managed by Dollar Energy Fund, Inc., a 501(c)(3).
