Make a Donation to Muskegon Sports Council

We're comitted to providing healthy outdoor recreation for our community. Your donation will help us fulfill this mission. You can choose how your donation is used by selecting one of our funds when you give.

Youth Winter Sports League - This fund is used for equipment purchases and coaching expenses with the goal of developing young athletes in winter sports like speed skating, cross country skiing and luge.

Community Foundation for Muskegon County Endowment - This is an interest bearing fund held with the Community Foundation that supports the work and mission of the Muskegon Sports Council.

Student Field Trip Scholarship - This fund is used to underwrite the cost for students to visit as part of a Muskegon area school sponsored field trip so the school doesn't have to bear the full cost of the trip.

Universal Accessibility - This fund is used for purchasing adaptive sports equipment, accessibility training for staff and hosting our bi-annual Accessibility Open Houses so people with disabilities can experience our unique recreation opportunities.

General Operations - This is an unrestricted fund that allows us to fill funding gaps for recreation programming that fulfills our mission.

Facilities Upgrades - This fund is used for further development of our 2017 Master Plan. Past projects have included our zip line, archery range and rock climbing wall. Future upgrades include an aerial adventure canopy tour, covered skate pavillion, lodge expansion, parking lot paving.
