New Program Development

In 2025, The School of American Music is thrilled to create an exciting new program that brings modern music to the forefront! We would like to expand our curriculum to spotlight the incredible sounds of the last 50 years—rock-n-roll, blues, jazz, country, and more. Our students will dive into these influential genres, gaining a deeper appreciation for the music that has shaped generations.

At the heart of our program is a strong foundation in music theory, giving students the tools they need to understand and create music with confidence. From mastering notes, scales, and chords to exploring rhythm, melody, and harmony, they’ll develop a well-rounded knowledge that enhances their musical journey.

But learning music is more than just theory—it’s about performing, expressing yourself, and sharing your passion! Our students will take the stage at local recitals, showcasing their hard work and talent in front of friends, family, and the community. These performances help build confidence, pride, and a lifelong love for music.
