Here’s how the fund raiser works:

Similar to a Super Bowl Squares pool, each square (sold for $20 each) will have 2 numbers assigned – one side being the “Winning Team” – the other side being the “Losing Team.” The final score using each team’s last digit will be used to determine the winner.

For example, let’s say North Carolina is playing UCLA in the 2nd round. The final score ends North Carolina-68 and UCLA- 62. Whoever has the square with “Winning Team” and “8” / “Losing Team” and “2” wins! The winning person would receive $10.00 for that game. In theory, if all 63 games to be played in the tournament ended in a final score of “8” and “2” you would win every game! Each square purchased gives you 63 chances to win !

Because you are not given a team, you really don’t care who wins – just how the final score turns out. Everyone is in this pool until the very end, because there are no “BAD” numbers. You will keep the same numbers for every game throughout the tournament. The tournament will start on March 19, 2024 and ends with the championship game on April 8, 2024. The fundraiser begins with the 64-team field and no "play-in" games prior to that are included (So the "First Four" on March 19-20 do not count).

The payout breaks down like this:

2nd Round 32 winners of $10.00 each

3rd Round 16 winners of $15.00 each

Sweet Sixteen 8 winners of $25.00 each

Elite Eight 4 winners of $35.00 each

Final Four 2 winners of $50.00 each

Championship Game 1 winner of $100.00!!

Squares will be assigned on a random basis, with members of the Glen Oak Soccer Booster staff present. The entire completed grid will be emailed to everyone who purchased a square before the 1st game.

Please complete the form including how we should notify you of a win. Deadline for entry is Friday, March 15, 2024. This is a first come, first served fundraiser. If demand is high, we may sell additional complete boards if possible.

*We hope to sell enough squares for 2-4 full boards. This would cover our summer competitions and a team t-shirt.
