Mo’s story is one of incredible resilience wrapped in a whole lot of sweetness. Rescued from a dairy farm at just a month old, he arrived at the ranch extremely sick and with little chance of survival. But Mo proved he was stronger than anyone imagined. After a long period of quarantine, plenty of enrichment, and endless treats (his favorites!), Mo began to thrive—slowly transforming into the vibrant, affectionate steer he is today.

One of the things that helped him most during his recovery was classical music. To this day, Mo melts at the sound of violins, often settling down with a deep sigh as if the notes were written just for him.

Now around 400 pounds, Mo may be big—but he’s still a goofy baby at heart. He’ll call out to you from across the pasture, demanding hugs and scratches, and won’t rest until he gets them. His huge heart and love for human affection make him one of the ranch’s most unforgettable personalities.
