Baskets are generously donated by local businesses or sponsored by WOIS families. Basket details are listed in the updates section 1-12 (under Supporters section tab if you are using a phone). Please note, as the campaign gets responses you will have to scroll down to see the baskets. When you make your donation, please list the basket number(s) you would like to be eligible for receiving in same form. Out of town participants can allocate their basket to a WOIS family or wait to redeem on a visit to Hendersonville.

Drawing will be held on 12/23/25 and basket recipients will be contacted from the information provided on the donor form.

Wild Oak Independent School is an educational community serving children from 3 years up to 5th grade. Nestled in Henderson County, NC we have spent the past 5 years building an educational community that preserves the sanctity of childhood while providing keystone educational experiences to support students in becoming the ambassadors in their lives. Our culture prioritizes joy, curiosity, and self-discovery and while honoring the natural process of childhood.

Our curriculum is place-based and integrated, meaning that learning experiences are interdisciplinary and inspired by the world the students are currently living. Wild Oak offers students bridges to connect to themselves, to each other, and the world.

Our Board of Directors, leadership team, faculty, and parent community are committed to building a strong foundation that will support our school’s long-term sustainability and growth. As we rethink education and bring the natural wisdom and curiosity we all possess back into the academic environment, we need financial support to achieve our goals.

Expand curriculum and supplies for all of our children.
Allow us to support our teachers with more training and professional development opportunities.
Increase opportunities for travel into the community to engage in on-site learning and projects within the community.
Support an affordable tuition for local families and help us grow our resources to provide more financial aid.
