El Concilio of San Mateo County (ECSMC) is a non-profit, community-based organization incorporated in 1980, is committed to increasing education, employment and access to quality of life services to underserved communities in San Mateo County. It has responded to the well documented racial and ethnic health and education disparities that include all underserved, low-income, non/limited English speaking communities through its programs.

Now more than ever does our community need a safe space to receive support! Help us as protect a community asset as we prepare to launch an exciting campaign for the future of our home in North Fair Oaks! We have a long road ahead of us. We envision a community space to not only house the expansion of our safety-net program, our unique Health and Wellness Case Management program, but a future digital literacy hub, worker cooperative hub and more! We envision a space for the community, by the community and about the community!

In the meantime, we have immediate repairs that we need to address so that we may protect our building, remain productive and have a safe, functional space to be of service to our community.

Repair our bathroom - cost average $10,000- $20,000
Weather protection, including installation and repairing of gutters - $2,500
Exterior maintenance including replacement of wooden trims, power-washing, paint, sealings etc. -$10,000- $50,000
Electrical upgrades- $25,000
HVAC System- $50,000
Other Capital Improvements needed to preserve our historical building- $50,000
