Thank you in advance for your generous donation to the Bresee Youth Center and the LAFC Youth Leadership Program, in loving memory of Richard Orosco. The program was founded in 2012, to teach job skills and life skills through the sport of soccer.

Richard’s son, Rich Orosco, is a co-founder of LAFC YLP and a Board Member of Bresee Youth Center. He was inspired to co-create LAFC YLP to honor his father’s experience as a youth with the Variety Boys and Girls Club in East LA. His father credits VBGC with fostering his growth and maturity as a young adult.

Richard Orosco, his wife Thelma, and his other sons Michael and Philip and their families frequently attended Bresee Youth Center and LAFC YLP events, and supported the program from its inception. Richard was proud to be associated with a program that offered new perspectives, life experiences, and the tools to succeed for underprivileged youth.

Richard would often tell those around him that “Life is Good”, even in the toughest times. On behalf of his family, thank you for your support in making life better for youth in Los Angeles.
