A little boy who loves the color blue, puppies, cars, tractors, and Bluey is in the fight of his life. Owen’s cancer is so rare that his family has been told no child has survived it. But Owen is a warrior. Every scan, every sleepless night at the hospital, every small victory—he keeps showing up with a bravery most of us only read about.

His dad, Alejandro, put it simply: “Deep down, I just want to be a dad. I want to be with my family while we still have time.” Between appointments, travel, missed work, and medical costs, that simple wish is heavy. This page exists to lift that weight—together.

$0.85 of every $1 goes directly to Owen’s family.
$0.15 of every $1 supports the One Dollar Dream movement ran by Strength Through Stories (STS) —the nonprofit that runs the OneDollarDream, verifies needs, covers banking/processing and production costs, and helps us build a small team so we can help more families.

Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Strength Through Stories is a registered 501(c)(3). Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

What does “net proceeds” mean here?
It means we direct 85% of every dollar to Owen’s family, and 15% to STS operations (verification, fees, production, and staffing—including me) so we can keep helping families.

Can I change or cancel a monthly gift?
Anytime. No hoops.
