Our kids are our future and the students at OWN 2 are among the most deserving. Your donation allows us to provide extracurricular activities, organize fun events like our Multicultural day and continue to make sure our students continue to learn and grow both educationally and emotionally.

OWN 2 is one of three (soon to be four) family focused charter schools in Queens, NY run by the Our World Neighborhood non-profit organization. The CEO Brian Ferguson is completely committed to our students and the principal Rodney Wilkins is an amazing role model for students and staff alike. He knows most students by name and personally greets them every morning at the front door.

Our motto is "Teaching students to become independent thinkers and lifelong learners". We're fortunate enough to have full time Spanish, Art and Music and STEM teachers. These specials are all too often neglected in the public school system.

Each month we focus on one of our Pillars of a Positive Community: Kindness, Friendship, Courage, Respect, Truth, Responsibility, Discipline, Fairness, Perseverance and Citizenship. They help create a learning community in which students can develop the moral maturity needed for future success.

OWN 2 is proud to offer Free breakfast and lunch for all students as well as 1:1 ipads for Kindergarten and 1:1 laptops for grades 1-5.
