Start Up Support for our first Preschool Program

We are excited to introduce the Urban Innovation Learning Academy, our first preschool site dedicated to serving South Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California. Our academy is designed to support single working and unemployed individuals with children ages 2-6. What sets our program apart is our strong focus on the social and emotional development of our children, particularly those living in underprivileged communities with limited resources and access to high-quality education.

As an early childhood educator with over 10 years of experience working with children and families in adverse communities, I have seen firsthand the profound need for nurturing and supportive educational environments. Our mission is to help young children heal and thrive despite the daily adversities they face.

At Urban Innovation Learning Academy, we offer a well-rounded curriculum that includes Art, Music, and Drama Theatre. These programs are designed to help children explore their unique talents and develop essential social and emotional skills. By engaging in creative activities, our students will learn to express themselves, build resilience, and develop the tools they need to navigate the challenges of their environment.

To bring this vision to life, we are seeking donations and grants to cover our start-up costs. We welcome financial contributions as well as in-kind donations, such as preschool classroom materials. Your support will help us create a safe, nurturing, and enriching learning space for our children.
