My name is April Sixsmith, and I am proud to serve as Ms. New York International. As a passionate photographer, I am leveraging my title and talents to raise awareness and funds for the DNA Doe Project. I am committed to donating 100% of the proceeds from select photoshoots to this incredible organization, which uses genetic genealogy to help identify John and Jane Does and resolve cold cases.

My motivation stems from a personal place. As someone who has faced mental health challenges, I understand the importance of being a voice for the voiceless. Through my efforts, I aim to support those who are suffering and alone—including the Doe victims and their grieving families—ensuring they are not forgotten and that their loved ones have the answers they seek.

This cause is close to my heart, and I am dedicated to making a meaningful impact.
