National Ag Day Fundraising Competition

National Ag Day is on March 21, 2023! To help us celebrate with a little friendly competition, Foundation Chairman Chris Hoffman and Vice Chairman Tommy Nagle will be raising funds through 11:59 p.m. on March 21. 

Who will win? Chris and Tommy will compete by forming two teams and working to get the most donation points before the deadline. Cast your vote -- and have fun!

Want your vote to count double? Join the Foundation's monthly giving program and split your donation into monthly payments over one year.

Example:
Person A donates a flat $100 to Chris.
Person B signs up for a monthly donation of $10, totaling $120 over one year, to Tommy. Tommy receives a competition credit of $220!

The Pennsylvania Friends of Agriculture Foundation was created in October of 1986 when a group of forward-thinking farmers and business leaders recognized the need to identify agricultural issues before they became  problems.

The foundation seeks to:

• Enlighten the public about farming and agriculture
• Create educational programs for children in middle and elementary schools who may have no other exposure to agriculture
• Train teachers on agricultural concepts while helping them meet their own continuing education requirements
• Support agriculture and preservation of the farm
• Promote career opportunities in agriculture
