Elevate Brunch

"Elevate: Lifting as We Climb" is a power brunch aimed at celebrating and inspiring women across diverse fields who uplift themselves and others through their impactful work. This event will feature a panel discussion with distinguished women, a silent auction, networking opportunities, and brunch, while raising funds for Black Women Adventures (BWA) initiatives. Our first Black Woman Adventurer Award will be presented to a woman who embodies courage, resilience, and leadership through her adventurous spirit, personal achievements, and contributions to uplifting others.

Black Women Adventures (BWA) is a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to empowering Black women through outdoor experiences, wellness, and adventure. Our mission is to provide spaces where Black women can prioritize their health, mental well-being, and personal growth while building meaningful connections with one another. We believe that through shared experiences in nature and holistic wellness activities, we can break down barriers, uplift one another, and create a ripple effect of positive change within our families, communities, and beyond.

BWA hosts various events like hiking retreats, tubing trips, and wellness gatherings, all with the goal of promoting mental, emotional, and physical health. We aim to create inclusive and supportive spaces where Black women can engage in outdoor adventures, focus on self-care, and foster community in an environment that celebrates our strength and resilience.
