Each year, we must raise another operating budget in order to give service to our community for another year. Each year, we provide the town, county and state with over half a million in free services from our highly trained, competent, and dedicated volunteers, with no charge to the citizens that find themselves in the position to need our service.

Our operating budget covers the team expenses of insurance, team vehicle maintenance, equipment and maintenance for communications, navigation, technical, and other safety equipment utilized by our volunteers, medical equipment, training, administrative fees, license and legal fees, rent and utilities, and other small necessities.

TSAR is 100% volunteer and has no paid employee positions. Volunteers pay out of pocket for their own equipment, apparel, gasoline, and supplies. We run a tight ship, with every dollar scrutinized by a 9-member board of directors, always operating under budget each year. Any budget overage is saved for when the team has to invest in something larger, such as a new vehicle. No money is ever wasted or utilized without discretion. 

We kindly ask you to help us operate yet another year to give us the honor of bringing loved ones home who are lost, injured, or deceased in the off-road wilderness settings of New Mexico. We operate only through your generosity.
