As we mark the close of Pride Month, the stakes for LGBTQ+ artists and stories have never been higher. Recent political shifts and funding cuts have made it harder than ever for inclusive art to be seen and heard. Threats to artistic freedom are growing—and the stories that still need to be told are at risk of being silenced.

At Boomerang Theatre Company, we’re not backing down.

We’re proud to champion queer voices on our stage. From last season’s Mercutio Loves Romeo Loves Juliet Loves by Gina Femia, to upcoming works like Murder of Crows by Dan Marshall, to the new plays nurtured through our First Flight Festival and The Baton Project—we’re telling bold, beautiful stories that reflect the full spectrum of the LGBTQ+ experience.
