Make a splash at our Inaugural Splash for Cash Swim-A-Thon and help make a real difference in our community. Participants will challenge themselves to swim as many laps as they can in one hour while raising support for a great cause. Dive in, have fun, and help us turn laps into life-saving impact!

Every day in the United States, two children tragically lose their lives to drowning. It’s a devastating reality, but it’s also one we can change.

At the CDYMCA, we offer our Safety Around Water Program free of cost to elementary students throughout the Capital Region. This vital program equips children with the skills and confidence they need to stay safe in and around water, including:

Exercises to teach children the fun and dangers of water
Instruction in "Jump, Push, Turn, Grab" and "Swim, Float, Swim"
Basic first aid skills
