PASO's Getting a Facelift!

PASO's clients, individuals living with HIV, deserve a space that reflects their worth and dignity. For too long, stigma has overshadowed their stories. Now, we're changing that narrative. With this fundraising campaign, we're getting a mural that bursts with color and life (thanks in part to the Amarillo Mural Grant Program) and landscaping the beds around the building with native plants.

Each stroke of the brush and every plant sowed represents a step towards healing, acceptance, and belonging. At PASO, we envision a vibrant façade mural and native landscaping that will not only beautify our surroundings but also celebrate the strength and diversity of our community!

The City of Amarillo Mural Grant Program will provide half of the mural's total cost, which PASO is thrilled about! Our mural symbolizes the journey from isolation to connection, from fear to empowerment. The beds that surround the front and east side of the building will become a xeriscape - landscape using drought tolerant and native plants to the Texas Panhandle that are low-maintenance and require little water.

To make these dreams a reality, we need your support to raise the funds required to complete these beautification projects.

Our goal is to raise $7,000 by July 31, 2025. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to creating this powerful visual statement and make a lasting impact. By donating, you will be directly contributing to:

  • Empowerment: By transforming our exterior, we're sending a powerful message: every individual deserves a space that celebrates their identity and resilience.
  • Community Building: This project brings together artists, volunteers, and clients in a shared vision of beauty and inclusivity.
  • Healing Environment: A welcoming space fosters mental well-being and encourages clients to access vital services with confidence.

Join Us in Making a Difference - please donate today and be a part of this lasting legacy!

Thank you for your support!
